Privacy policy.
The short version: we collect only what you send us, we use it only to respond and to serve you as a client, and we don't sell or share it. Last updated July 2026.
Who we are
Structured Cloud Consulting Inc. ("we", "us") is a design & engineering studio based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This policy describes how personal information is handled on structuredcloud.ca, in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect, and why
Contact form
When you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. This is delivered to us by email and used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is not added to any marketing list and is not shared with third parties.
Client portal
Clients with a portal account have login credentials (email and a hashed password), a session cookie that keeps them signed in, and the business records that come with an engagement — such as contact details, projects and invoices. This information is used only to deliver the services the client engaged us for. Payments made through the portal are processed by Stripe; card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
Site preferences
Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage) and is never transmitted to us.
Server logs
Like virtually all websites, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) for security and diagnostics. These are routinely rotated and not used to profile visitors.
What we don't do
- No advertising or analytics trackers — this site runs no Google Analytics, no ad pixels, no third-party tracking cookies.
- No selling, renting or trading of personal information, ever.
- No marketing email unless you've explicitly asked for it.
Retention & security
Contact enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and any period required by Canadian tax and corporate law. Passwords are stored hashed; portal access is restricted to authenticated users.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email hello@structuredcloud.ca and we'll respond promptly. If you have an unresolved concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
